So here I am…sitting at Omaha Eppley Airfield. I’m heading off to Germany in about 2 hours. It will be a long day of travel, I think I’ll be in Airports and airplanes for about 16 to 17 hours. If only all had free WiFi. It was tough to leave Ms. Emily Conway at the terminal. 2 months apart is not popular, neither with me or her. I am offiically in non-school mode, though. I am really glad that classroom work is over, I was ready for that. I can only look forward to the trip I’m going to have. Two months doesn’t seem like long, but it seems like a lifetime in a strange place. That’s also the fun of it.
I’m not going to write much this first time, I’ll save that for the later posts, but I promise to keep you all posted!
(As you can tell from this post, my mind is completely scattered. I’m fairly scared stiff to be heading overseas for a couple months, and I don’t know how I feel about leaving my friends and family for this long, but it’s something that I really feel like I should do. It’ll be great…that’s what I keep telling myself that, anyway.)

Recieved a note in the mail yesterday with the address of this web site. It will be fun to keep abrest of your experience in Europe. I enjoyed seeing you and the rest of the family at the graduation party. Take care and have the experience of a life time. Love, Aunt Sandy
