I’ve done 8. A long ways to go…
In the August issue of Esquire Magazine, Tom Chiarella chronicles the list of 75 Things Every Man Should Do. It’s a great list, as great writing is almost always synonymous with perusing Esquire.
Here are a few of the highlights:
No. 1 – Play rugby. – A shout out to my good buddy, Sam Nelson, and the rest of the SDSU Rugby Team. If you haven’t watched rugby before, do. Just watching, it will be as exhilarating an experience as playing most sports. Guaranteed.
No. 37 – Get very good at a sport that isn’t a sport. – Foosball and Beanbags have both been staples of my collegiate life; check.
No. 14 – Toboggan, aggressively. – I just think of winters in the upper Mid West and think, “Who hasn’t?”
No. 42 – Sell everything you don’t need. Once. – Honestly, if I did this, I would have to get rid of half of the stuff I own.
and last, but not least… (or easiest…)
No. 75 – Bungee Jump. What the hell.
Again, read it here. Some are contemplative, some are hilarious, a few risqué, but all are an entertaining read. So, 8 out of 75…I’m gettin’ there. How far are you?
